Meet the Artists

Skyler is a Southern West Virginia native, who moved to Ohio in 2017 to pursue his Christian education and career. Central Ohio didn’t feel quite like home until he married his high school sweetheart, Grace, in 2020. They both fell in love with the area and the people, making Lancaster their new home with their two adorable pups, Stormi and Ysera. 

 

Skyler has always been extremely passionate about art since a very young age. His true love for drawing emerged when he was diagnosed with Leukemia as a teenager. He spent many hours in the hospital bed drawing and tattooing fake skin. This was also when he received his first tattoo and realized his love for tattooing at a young age of 15. Ever since his first tattoo he knew he would one day be a tattoo artist, and he did!

 

His passion for art is clearly seen in every custom tattoo he creates for each of his first time clients, who turn into life long friends. Not only does he give people a one of a kind work of art, he also cultivates a comfortable and uplifting experience as you sit in his care. He's very transparent when sharing his testimony about the hardships he has faced and the battles he has undergone with his health. In doing so he gives all the glory to God. You will leave this studio with more than just an amazing tattoo that perfectly expresses you, but with a new friend that genuinely cares about you! 

 

Skyler has cultivated a very caring and loving environment at Red Letter Studios. Each client is special and you will never just be the “next client” to anybody here. We love seeing all the different types of people that come through our doors. We know you each have a story. You could be celebrating, hurting, coping, or none of the above. Whatever it may be, we are here to bring your beautiful art to life and lend an ear to hear! 

 

Skyler's style is neo-traditional but he also has experience in other styles as well. He is an ever growing artist who pursues knowledge in the best techniques and challenges himself to always be better than the day before. His desire has been and remains to be pouring himself into this special project just for you!

Tasha fell in love with art at an early age, and has allowed it to influence her life ever since. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, she’s a Midwestern girl that’s traveled the world, finding excitement and beauty in people and places she could’ve never imagined. Working with and creating art in several different mediums, she has learned to think outside of the box, and that same creativity will shine through in the tattoo you trust her with as well. 

 

Tasha is a wife, as well as a mother of three school-aged children, two dogs, and a bearded dragon named Drogan. Although her life has seen its share of challenges, she is quick to point out that God’s hand has led and brought her through it all, giving her a testimony to share of His faithfulness. She loves laughing, making friends, and encouraging people in every interaction. She is one of our precious gems here at Red Letter! 

 

Tasha completed her tattoo apprenticeship under shop owner, Skyler Miller, July 2024. Though she is now graduated, she is constantly seeking new information and growing as an artist, never stagnant! Let her put your mind at ease, as you work together to create your special piece! You will not be disappointed when you place your trust in Tasha. Instead, you will have a beautiful piece of art and a new friend. 

Andy is a beloved husband, father of two, and a Lancaster native. His deep-rooted love for art spans many years. In his spare moments, you may find Andy tinkering with tattoo machines, disassembling and reassembling them to improve their performance and to just figure out how they are made. With years of tattooing experience, Andy has cultivated a devoted clientele that now calls him a friend. 

 

Andy is a simple man. Aside from his artistic pursuits, Andy treasures his family and highly enjoys playing golf. To learn more about Andy, drop by Red Letter Studios and book your next tattoo appointment!

Nathan is a Lancaster, Ohio native; however, most of his life has been spent growing up in Amanda, Ohio. Nathan has always had an artistic side that was pushed and encouraged by family to keep pursuing. Commonly referred to as the “golden retriever” of the shop, he’s always happy to walk around and talk with all of our clients. Through trial and error, Nathan has favored American Traditional as his style for tattooing but always willing to think outside the box for any project brought his way. 

 

Nathan is a father of a 9 year old son and has a pet corn snake named Corsio. Having his son at such a young age has given him a strong work ethic to grow and get better in every situation. Nathan loves being able to make people happy and confident in their own skin through tattooing, as that’s what it did for him. Always quick with a joke or just to listen, your session with Nathan is certain to never disappoint. You won’t even notice you’re getting tattooed as you immerse yourself in great conversation. You will leave with an incredible piece of art, and a new friend! 

 

Nathan acquired his apprenticeship in February of 2024 from shop owner, Skyler Miller. Although currently having limitations in his apprenticeship, Nathan is certain to make any tattoo in his limits spectacular! 

Ashley was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She has always been passionate about art and self expression. Ashley is a cross-disciplinary artist whose background is primarily in oil painting but she loves to include various different mediums in her work. She graduated with an honorary Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University in 2021. Since then she has shown her work in gallery shows and has been working towards a tattoo apprenticeship.

 

Ashley is a wife and cat mom to six cats and many strays. In her free time she enjoys reading, annoying her husband, getting outside, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. She loves caring for animals and her clients. Your comfort is top priority when you’re with her. You can show her pictures of your pets and tell her about them anytime and she’ll love every minute of it. She loves meeting new people and hearing their stories and gaining new friends in the process. She is always incredibly grateful to every client.

 

Ashley has wanted to be a tattoo artist for over a decade and her dreams finally began to come to fruition when her apprenticeship began under Skyler Miller in February of 2023. She currently doesn’t have a specific tattoo style and is just enjoying the process of learning the medium until she settles on her favorite. Ashley’s painting style is usually realism mixed with abstract surrealism and she’d one day love to bring that into her tattoo designs. She will give her all to any project you trust her with! 

Blake grew up in Newark, Ohio and has been living in Lancaster for just under 2 years. He has always been passionate about art and discovered his love for tattooing when he realized the depth and endless possibilities of the medium for artists. Blake is open to tattooing any design a client desires but is focused on specializing in blackwork with stipple shading once he graduates his apprenticeship. He enjoys creating artwork inspired by pop culture, specifically anime/comic book themes, as well as flowers and Japanese motifs. 

 

On his days off, you’ll find Blake playing Madden or relaxing on the couch with his two dogs, Jasper and Gus. 

 

Blake is currently apprenticing under Andy Moyer At Red Letter Studios. He is excited to meet new clients, challenge hisself for continued growth, and is ready to work with you on your next piece! 

Lauren is the newest member of the Red Letter family, but has already become a coworker and client favorite! She goes above and beyond to make each client feel welcomed and does her best to set a nervous first timer at ease! She was born and raised in Lancaster where she met her husband and serves in her local church! She has enjoyed art throughout her life, and is a creative force to be reckoned with! She’s a gifted musician and singer and writes and shares songs to glorify God with her band, @mudhousemusic! 

 

Lauren enjoys the simple pleasures which include tattoos, anime, drawing and caffeine! The Lord has been faithful to provide many beautiful seasons amidst the messiness of life. He has led her to Red Letter where she is excited to help the studio grow and be apart of a place that makes you feel like you belong!
